How to Prepare a Product Photo for an Online Shop
Crop, colour and background steps that make a listing look professional without misrepresenting the product.
Start from the largest, sharpest original you have. A small, already-compressed photo cannot be repaired by editing.
Crop tightly but leave a small margin around the product, so the listing thumbnail does not cut off an edge. The Photo Cropper and Resizer keeps your original untouched while you test crops.
Fix colour before anything else: correct white balance so white products look white, not yellow or blue, and keep saturation natural. Over-saturated colours mislead buyers and cause returns.
A clean background helps a product stand out. The AI Background Remover produces a transparent PNG you can place on a plain background — but do not use editing to hide a scratch, change a colour, or make a product look different from what the buyer will receive.
Export at the size the shop actually displays, in JPEG for photographs or PNG when you need transparency, and check the result on a phone, where most shoppers will see it.
