How to Protect Your Original Photo
Why every tool here never overwrites your file, and the habit that keeps your originals safe.
Every tool on this site works on a copy. Your original file is never changed, never overwritten and never uploaded — the download is always a new file.
Keep that habit outside this site too: store originals in a separate folder (or a backup) and edit copies. Once an original is overwritten with a cropped or compressed version, the discarded pixels cannot be recovered.
Before sharing an edited photo, check what else is in it: reflections, number plates, documents on a desk, and location clues in the background. Removing metadata does not remove those visible details.
This site does not store your images at all, so there is nothing to delete from a server afterwards. If you want a result gone, delete the downloaded file from your own device.
For important photos, keep at least two copies in different places — for example, on your device and on an external drive or a cloud backup you control.
