Supported formats and limitations
- Cover cropping discards the parts of the original outside the centre crop. If an important detail is at an edge, crop the photo yourself first with the Photo Cropper and Resizer.
- Platform recommended sizes change over time. If a platform has changed its size, use Custom size with the current numbers from that platform.
- Animation is not preserved: only the first frame of an animated WebP is processed.
- This tool does not post to any platform and does not need any social media account.

Frequently asked questions
Will my photo be stretched?
No. Cover cropping fills the size by cropping, never by stretching. The preview shows exactly what will be downloaded.
Why is part of my photo cut off?
Because the chosen size has a different shape from your photo. The centre crop keeps the middle and discards the edges.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. All processing runs in your browser. No image leaves your device.
What is the size limit?
20 MB per file and 100 megapixels. There is no limit on the number of images you may process, one at a time, within those per-file limits.
