Supported formats and limitations
- Cropping discards the area outside the selection — the download contains only the cropped part. Your original file is never overwritten.
- Enlarging an image beyond its original size does not add real detail; it may look soft or blurry.
- Animation is not preserved: only the first frame of an animated WebP is processed.
- Converting to JPEG discards transparency — pick PNG or WebP if you need a transparent background.

How do I crop without stretching?
Cropping never stretches: it only cuts out the selected area. Stretching can only happen at the resize step, and only if you turn "Preserve aspect ratio" off and enter a different shape.
Can I resize to an exact size such as 800 × 600?
Yes — turn aspect-ratio preservation off and enter both values. The image will be stretched or squashed to fit exactly, so check the preview first.
Is my photo uploaded?
