Supported formats and limitations
- Correction cannot restore detail that was never captured — a completely overexposed sky or a pitch-black shadow stays flat, it only becomes brighter or darker.
- Extreme slider values can create unnatural colours or banding in smooth areas such as skies. Check the preview at full size before downloading.
- Animation is not preserved: only the first frame of an animated WebP is processed.
- Converting to JPEG discards transparency — pick PNG or WebP if you need a transparent background.
- Limits: 20 MB per file, 100 megapixels. Unlimited uses, one file at a time, within those per-file limits.
Frequently asked questions
What does white balance do?
It shifts the colour temperature: warmer adds yellow/orange, cooler adds blue. Use it when a photo looks too orange under indoor lights or too blue in shade.
Will this fix a very dark photo?
It can brighten it, but it cannot invent detail that the camera did not record. Very dark areas will become brighter and noisier, not sharper.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. All processing runs in your browser. No image leaves your device.
What is the size limit?
20 MB per file and 100 megapixels. There is no limit on the number of images you may process, one at a time, within those per-file limits.
